100 Year Celebration!

The Clear-Ridge Historical Society in conjunction with the Midway Airport Historians will host a 100th anniversary celebration of Midway Airport on Saturday, June 6th at 2:30 PM—4:30 PM at the Clearing Library, 6423 West 63rd Place, Chicago.

Happy 100th anniversary to Midway Airport! On May 8th, 1926, the first commercial air flight left the newly opened Municipal Airport. The airport was not officially dedicated until December of 1927.
